Career Counseling and Support Services  (CCSS)

The CCSS through the Office of Student Life offers resources to help students with all aspects of the job search. Resume, cover letter, interviewing and networking skills are among some of the ways CCSS can help you get ready to find your dream position. They offer walk-in sessions on Monday and Tuesday 1:00pm-3:00pm and Wednesday and Friday 9:00am-11:00am. Besides their in-office services, the CCSS also offers services specifically for Graduate and Professional  students. Even after you graduate, you are eligible to meet with CCSS twice within the first six months after you are done.

Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS) 

The CCS through the Office of Student Life offers mental health services, psychoeducational prevention and outreach programming for all students at Ohio State. Individual and group counseling are available. Their website is full of information including self-help, workshops and directions on how to make an appointment. There are some already established group counseling sessions specifically for graduate and professional students. Additionally, the CCS offers free drop-in workshops every day of the week. Check them out here .  Now offering “Let’s Talk” free and confidential consultations every Thursday from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Multicultural Center at the Union.

RUOK? Buckeyes Suicide Prevention 

RUOK? Buckeyes is designed to identify students at-risk of suicide and connect them to helpful resources. Students are administered an anonymous and confidential survey that evaluates stress and depression. Counselors offer to meet with at-risk students to discuss treatment options. RUOK? Also offers a suicide prevention training for students called REACH .

Student Wellness Center  (SWC)

The SWC, located in the RPAC is a great resource for students to keep a healthy balance in many aspects of their lives. Alcohol and other drug prevention, recovery communities, HIV testing, nutrition coaching, financial coaching and wellness coaching are all free services offered by the SWC. The coaching services are especially helpful for graduate students who often struggle to find the time to develop balance.

Buckeye Pal Access Line

Buckeye PAL is a non-emergency talk line operated out of the Student Wellness Center. This student operated line consists of student volunteers providing personal support, as well as connecting students to various resources on campus.
