Dr. Dawn Goedde, OD, FAAO
Dr. Dawn Goedde is a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Upon graduation, Dr. Goedde completed an Ocular Disease Residency at the Columbus and Chillicothe VA. Immediately following her residency, she joined the faculty at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Goedde currently teaches disease of the anterior segment and serves at the Residency and Extern Director as well as the CE Committee Chair. When she is not working, Dr. Goedde enjoys watching her boys play soccer and hockey and taking her dog for walks.
Stephanie George, OD, MS
Stephanie is a current ocular disease resident at Specialty Eye Institute in Toledo, OH. She graduated from the combined OD/MS program at The Ohio State University in 2024. As a resident, Stephanie manages referrals from other ODs in the area and urgent care and works closely with the ophthalmologists at the practice, including oculoplastics and glaucoma. In optometry school, Stephanie held leadership positions in Student Council and Optometry Ambassadors.
Emily Benson OD, MS
Emily is currently a resident in ocular disease and cornea & contact lens at the University of Virginia Department of Ophthalmology. She graduated from the OD/MS program at Ohio State in 2024 and was National President of the AOSA during her fourth year of school. During optometry school, Emily was also involved in SAAO and CLAS, and won the 2022 OOA Student of the Year award. In her residency, Emily works in a high-volume specialty contact lens clinic and ocular disease clinics managing highly complicated corneal and systemic conditions.
