Visit Days
At our Visit Days or Open House, you’ll be able to meet Glenn College faculty, staff, current students and more while learning about our curriculum, degree enhancement, opportunities for involvement and career development.
All MPA admitted students welcome to any below events. The modality of the program does not matter in terms of which program(s) below you decide to attend. We hope to see you at any and/or all events!
In Person Visit Days:
- Thursday, March 6, 2025, 1-5pm: MPA Admitted Students Visit Day
- Thursday, April 24, 2025: 3:30-5pm: Admitted Graduate Student Open House
Online Visit Days:
- Tuesday, March 25, 2025: 3-4:30pm: MPA Admitted Students Visit Day

Orientation
Autumn 2025 Orientation will likely be on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 in the afternoon with a Welcome Dinner in the early evening.
Boot Camp
The college also provides a “Boot Camp” resource on Carmen for incoming graduate students. This highly encouraged activity is a nice refresher on basic math, economics, and statistics. This is offered in a virtual format and you will be automatically added to the course prior to the start of classes and will be notified when you have access. Please find this at Carmen.osu.edu. If you do not see it, please let Lindsey know.

The Atlas has some preparation materials for MPA and MPP programs which may help you prepare. Some of the information may be specific to Canada, but there are links to information from Harvard about the US.
