SPANISH 3404: Spanish Grammar
Class Description
- “Spanish Grammar” at first sounds difficult, and boring. However, this class, as part of my Spanish minor has been the most beneficial, and allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of dialect, linguistic discrimination, and how language effects culture.
Class Reflection
- From this class I was able to learn the different dialects within the Spanish language, as well as the “Slang” and the “Perspectives” of the language in different forms. As a result, when traveling in Central America I utilized context appropriate terminology, and was able to pick up on the variety or linguistic differences based not only on geography, but also social class.
