Hello there! My name is Madison Montgomery and welcome to my E-Portfolio. Hopefully from this, you are able to get to know me a little bit better and it can give you an insight into what you may find on the rest of my E-Portfolio.

Like I said, my name is Madison, and I am currently a third year at The Ohio State University studying Animal Science. I was raised in a small town in north east Ohio called Mineral City, and loved the rural community I grew up in. Three years ago, I made one of the biggest choices of my life when I chose one of the largest schools in the country and decided to attend OSU. Though a large decision, it was probably one of the easiest I have ever made because since the age of seven, I have dreamed of attending OSU to become a veterinarian. While many things have changed since I was seven, one thing is as strong and steadfast as ever: My love for Ohio State! This school was my dream and is a fairy tale come true for me.

During my time here, I have been blessed with many amazing opportunities a lot of those were possible through becoming a member of the honors community here. I am currently very involved in residence life at Taylor Tower working as an OA and as an RPA. I have learned how much I love helping students find their fit at OSU as I have found mine.

While at OSU, I have discovered a lot about myself. I found out that the dream I had all my life of being a veterinarian is actually not my dream. I found my true passion and have decided to pursue a path in pediatric oncology. I was also able to pursue another passion of mine in traveling the world when I went on a study abroad to England and Scotland to study agricultural communications.
