Student-Driven Innovation on Ohio State Mobility for 2030
Honda R&D is partnering with the Center for Innovation Strategies for a student-driven innovation sprint to explore how to develop a multi-modal Ohio State campus community. Student teams will be formed to explore the design and deployment for a connected / integrated multi-modal campus transportation system that will move people and goods more quickly and with less energy than current campus transportation systems do today. The timing for focus on a 10 year implementation plan while maintaining a sustainable and accessible system.
Over the period of 6 weeks, multi-disciplinary teams of students will go through five 1-hour workshops (Tuesdays: 11:30am – 12:30pm) to develop solutions on a 10 year implementation plan while maintaining a sustainable and accessible system. Our kick off date is Tuesday, March 22nd

The sprint will conclude with a final pitch event on April 26th 2022, attended by Honda R&D and Ohio State Leadership. These proposals will be the starting point to future research that will lead towards the future of Ohio State’s mobility! Students will be paid a total of $125 for 12 hours of work over the 6 weeks.
