Financial aid consists of scholarships, grants, loans and Federal Work-Study. Some financial aid is merit-based, meaning you compete for awards based on academic achievement. Other aid is need-based or non-need-based and meant to help when your family and personal resources are unable to cover your total educational costs.
Once Ohio State has determined the financial aid package it can offer, you will be notified by email and given instructions to view your package through My Buckeye Link.
You should be able to manage most student financial aid matters online through buckeyelink.osu.edu by following the information and resources on this website.
