Drawings are great ways to represent politics

Drawings are a direct representation of a story without needing words to tell a story

When drawing cartoons do not start out with heavy lines

Start drawing very lightly then go back over and add more confident and bold lines

Drawings have the tendency to reveal the psychological profile of some one’s inner desires or what they spend the most time thinking about

Drawings are universal way for people to read and understand a message

Daniel Clowes stuck out to me because he seemed to have a troubled past. His artwork allowed him to escape and express his emotions that he feels. Through his depression he drew and you can sense the loneliness and anger he felt and there is still a mystery of who are you and what is your story, it leaves me with wanting to know more about him.

Francisco Goya- I really appreciated his work, I truly value the dark rawness of his drawings. He captured real life and the graphic brutality of war and evil in this world.

Sylvian Chomet- I really enjoyed his style of drawing it was so unique and he mentions how he didn’t make it for children he made it for adults. The amount of time it took to make a film shows his dedication and passion for his work. This was such a remarkable time where drawings were literally brought to life through film.
