Alexis Miranda is a first year undergraduate student studying Special Education in the College of Education and Human Ecology. Alexis is in the Honors College and her goal is to specialize in moderate to intensive intervention within the Special Education major. Alexis enjoys volunteering with Special Olympics and is exciting to begin FEEP, a student teaching opportunity, in the spring semester of 2018. Coming from New Jersey, Alexis was the only person from her high school graduating class to attend The Ohio State University. She first found community at Ohio State through the Morrill Scholars program, where she was given the opportunity to arrive a week early to campus and participate in numerous activities. Alexis is also very involved with Cru on campus and hopes to increase her involvement during her time at Ohio State.
