Dr. Haitao Wen will be joining the faculty as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity in March, 2018. He is relocating to OSU from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Wen obtained his medical degree from Shan-Dong University School of Medicine, Jinan, P.R. China, and his PhD from the University of Michigan Medical School, in Ann Arbor, MI.
Dr. Wen’s research focuses on inflammasomes and sepsis infection and the effect of metabolism on the innate immune response. This research will be externally funded by his first National Institutes of Health R01 grant.
