Hi my name is Cate. I am studying nursing so that I can work with children and teenagers who have congenital heart defects. I hope to one day get my DNP and Ph.D so that I can do research in how to make these defects more detectable, to ensure that children and teenagers who have these defects can live long and fulfilling lives. When I’m not on campus studying, I work over at Riverside Methodist Hospital. I also befound walking along the Scioto Mile when I’m not dealing with school work. I like walking along the Scioto Mile because it is a great way to relieve some stress and just turn of my mind for a bit. Some of my favorite things to do are ice skate, read, workout, watching hockey, the beach and have coffee with my sister Devon.
