Artifacts

An artifact that represents one of my most memorable experience I had from my first semester at OSU is the monument list for the art works we studied in my History of Eastern Asian Art class. This monument list is given by our history of art professors, it includes all the art works such as paintings, ceramics, and sculptures that we need to be able to recite the name of the art work, the creator, time period, material, technique, and etc. This is very significant to me because during the final week, me and my friends spent so much time everyday trying to remember all the information. We would quiz each other and try to find ways to remember the weird names. It felt like impossible at that time, but when I think back after we took the test, it doesn’t seems so hard anymore and they are such good memories. It is important for me to realize that we encounter difficulties everyday but we need to keep trying. I would have done the same if time goes back because I did great on the test.
