Thank you for registering to attend the 2023 OSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteer State Conference. We are excited to host you in just a few short days in Greene County, Ohio! Hopefully the weather will hold, but it should sure feel like fall, no worries, we will have plenty of educational opportunities inside at the conference center! We hope you are planning to stay at the hotel during your stay, if for some reason you didn’t book with them yet, visit the conference site to get that taken care of at go.osu.edu/mgv2023greene. Just a reminder, the conference is held at Holiday Inn – Fairborn/I-675, 2800 Presidential Drive, Fairborn, Ohio. There is plenty of parking out front and we will be ready to greet you just past the hotel registration desk. Conference registration will open at 4pm on Thursday then 7am on Friday and Saturday. If you need assistance during your time at the conference – Greene County Master Gardener Volunteers will be wearing conference logo buttons – see one of them for help or visit the registration desk. Also, be sure to bring cash or check preferred for some awesome silent auction and raffle basket items (information attached). We will also accept credit card payments for these. If you have more time to spend in Greene County, there are plenty of things to see and do – check those out here. We wish you safe travels to Fairborn and look forward to seeing you later this week.

Join us for the 2023 MGV State Conference in Greene County on October 12, 13 and 14. This promises to be a great networking and learning event for Master Gardener Volunteers. Hear from renowned speakers in their fields! Keynote address Friday evening by Scott Beuerlein of the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. Then, Saturday hear from Brent Heath of Brent and Becky’s Bulbs on All about Bulbs. Various breakout sessions by: Pam Bennett, State MGV Program Director, Aaron Wilson, Climate Field Specialist, Tom Hissong, native plants, David Nolin, Huffman Prairie and more. Everyone registered and in attendance on Saturday of the conference will be entered to win awesome prizes – MGV Merchandise bags, AM Leonard gift card, $150 registration to next year’s State Conference and a registration to the MGV Diagnostic Workshop.
