About Me

I am a first-year from Mentor, Ohio which is about 30 minutes east of Cleveland. I plan on pursuing a career in the medical field through the study of Biomedical Engineering. Involvement is going to be a point of emphasis as I begin my journey at The Ohio State University. Whether it is through Undergraduate research opportunities or through a variety of intramural activities, it will be made a priority. Having multiple family members and friends deal with a multitude of different injuries and diseases is the main reason for my desire to get so heavily involved in such a demanding profession. The thought of attending such a large university is very frightening and distracting to many individuals, but in reality they are missing the point of college of which is all about: to meet many new people. Having an impact on the Columbus community will be of importance as well. Through volunteering, fundraisers, internships, and many more, I plan on making the most of the opportunities that are not only offered by The Ohio State University, but the city of Columbus.
