The Meuti lab is incredibly honored and excited to be the recipient of an Ecology and Evolution of Infection Diseases (EEID) grant!

The grant will support a collaborative project looking to examine various seasonal factors that drive West Nile virus transmission in Culex mosquitoes. We’re so happy to see Megan’s hard work result in such wonderful support!

The Meuti lab took a trip up to Winous Point Marsh Conservancy to see some of our field sites. Our collaborators showed us protocols for bird blood-drawing to test birds for West Nile virus prevalence.
