Off to Kyoto!

This week, Megan, Mizuki, and Lydia headed off to the International Congress of Entomology in Kyoto, Japan.

Mizuki presented her work “Two overwintering strategies shape the life-cycle seasonality of an Antarctic insect,” while Lydia presented her work “Light pollution interferes with seasonal dormancy in temperate mosquitoes.” Megan presented her work “The role of the circadian clock in regulating the seasonal responses in the Norther house mosquito, Culex pipiens.”

What a wonderful opportunity to share all the exciting work going on in the Meuti lab! There was also time for Megan, Mizuki, and Lydia to take in the beautiful scenery, food, and customs that Kyoto has to offer 🙂
