The Disabled Community

A sincere thank you to all project contributors. The disabled community of Franklin County is diverse and vast, growing each year. Having the opportunity to speak with some of the organizations and community actors that play a role in recognizing and supporting these important community members through activism and programming was incredibly beneficial.

Contributions include:

The Arc of Ohio, Mr. Gary Tonks (President/CEO)

“The mission of The Arc of Ohio is to advocate for human rights, personal dignity and community participation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, through legislative and social action, information and education, local chapter support and family involvement.”
