The Annual Severe Weather Symposium

Since its inception, the club has worked together to host an annual severe weather symposium, which brings together meteorologists from all across the country from all different aspects of meteorology to give presentations at Ohio State and to network with the student body.  Previous symposia have included meteorologists from: the National Weather Service, the Storm Prediction Center, The Weather Channel, news stations all over the country, the private sector, such as insurance companies, and Emergency Management Personnel.  The event is free and open to the general public, regardless of major or career.

  1. There seems to be some confusion on the website about the date for the 2019 symposium. Just want to confirm that it is March 28 a Thursday. I thought it was usually on a Friday. Also, when will the program and speakers be published?
