Year in Review

When I entered Ohio State, I was surprised to see how difficult it was to live as an independent person. The transition was very overwhelming at first, and I often felt lonely. Once classes started, however, my entire experience changed for the better. I quickly made friends with my peers both inside and outside of my classes. I also got involved in the Ohio House of Science and Engineering where I befriended likeminded individuals that I continue to spend time with and study with before exams. One of the most important things I learned this semester was how to prepare for an exam. By developing this skill, I now know how to manage my time effectively to maximize my education at Ohio State. Overall, I believe my time-management skills as well as the ability to live on my own have both benefited over these past four months which will allow me to continue to improve my individual abilities.
