Being a member of the baseball team at my high school required much more than playing games. Our coach got us actively involved in our community such as participating in toy drives and working baseball camps in the summer to help youth athletes work on their skills. Playing baseball at Lancaster High School taught me to hold myself accountable for my own actions. I learned what it took to be a hard-worker and also present myself as a role-model in my community. The four years of baseball at Lancaster helped shape me into the person I am today.
