Hello, my name is Alicia Mendoza. I am a Molecular Genetics major in the College of Arts and Sciences at the Ohio State University. I am Recruitment Chair for the Biological Sciences Scholars and a member of the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program. With my Scholars community, I do volunteer work, attend workshops and meet with any professors on campus from a variety of biology related fields. The LSAMP program has helped me find my home on campus as well as gives the opportunity to expand my horizons and learn more about how to excel in college.
