MEME Research Group

The Media Entertainment and Media Effects (MEME) Research Group is a scholarly collective in the School of Communication at The Ohio State University. The group focuses on communication research in areas related to mass communication and media psychology, with specific focus on the processing of media entertainment and its effects.

The primary function of MEME is for faculty working in related areas to have an informal space to vet research ideas, hone study designs, and receive feedback from colleagues for works in progress. Graduate students are invited and encouraged to attend the meetings.

MEME meets on a bi-weekly basis in an announced location each semester. Please click here for more information about the current schedule and location of meetings.

Drs. Teresa Lynch, Matt Grizzard, and Nic Matthews established MEME in the Autumn semester of 2019. All are invited and welcome to attend.
