The inspiration that was given for this prompt was the works by Artemisia Gentileschi. In my opinion she did very clean portraits and brought character into the works from the subjects. I love the simple style of her work yet she captured so much about the person in the drawing.
For this drawing while I was sitting at a coffee shop with my friend we were both drawing. She was taking a break from her current drawing and I asked her if she could hold still while I drew a portrait of her for a project. My friend’s name is Kylee, and I plan to draw a couple more angles I just haven’t gotten the chance yet. I will update this page when I finish the other angles I wanted to do!
