The Department of Economics at The Ohio State University is pleased to host the 29th Annual Meeting of the Midwest Econometrics Group (MEG 2019) and the 4th annual Mentoring Workshop for junior women. The conference will take place on October 11–12, 2019 and the Mentoring Workshop will take place on October 10–11.

Shakeeb Khan

Conference Program

We are pleased to announce that Shakeeb Khan, Professor of Economics at Boston College, will deliver the after dinner address on Friday evening.

The conference will begin at noon on Friday, October 11 and end at approximately 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 12. Click here for details on the program.

There will be a registration fee of $100, or $25 for graduate students. The fee will cover all meals and coffee breaks, including the conference dinner held on October 11th and lunch on both October 11th & 12th. Registration has not yet opened.

The Mentoring Workshop for junior women will begin with a dinner on Thursday, October 10 and will run from 8 AM to noon on Friday, October 11.

Submission Instructions

To be considered for inclusion in the conference program, complete papers must be submitted by July 21, 2019.

Acceptance decisions should be made by August 21, 2019 and authors will be notified by email. Although we will make every effort to have a full and diverse program, please be advised that submission of a paper does not guarantee inclusion into the final program.
