Dear Aviation Industry

Dear Aviation Industry,

I am currently a second-year student at The Ohio State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aviation and I intend to minor in both Mathematics and Environmental Science.  I expect to graduate in the spring of 2016.  My long-term goal is to be a professional pilot in the industry, and I am presently working towards my Private Pilot License.

This past summer I completed a four-week study abroad at Korea Aerospace University where I took courses in Aviation Operations and Management and Aviation Safety and Security.  While in Korea I was able to tour Incheon International Airport as well as expand my cultural knowledge.  The most rewarding part about my study abroad experience was sharing my experience with people from all over the globe who share my passion for aviation.

My present goal is to acquire a better feel for what it is like in the industry by participating in an internship or co-op.  If you are aware of any internship or co-op opportunities please contact me at meelhuysen.1@osu.edu.  I look forward to taking the next step towards a career in aviation.

Sincerely,

Kaitlynn Meelhuysen
