As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to: identify common consumer-targeted devices that are capable of ECG monitoring; discuss the potential utility of identifying atrial fibrillation via a patient’s use of a consumer-targeted and/or “wearable” device; decide about the best modality of monitoring for a particular patient; decide about anticoagulation in patients with device detected atrial fibrillation.
