Webcast Teaches on Diabetic Retinopathy. Low vision is a top 10 cause of disability in the United States with diabetic retinopathy being the leading cause of blindness in adults. Most concerning is that 90% of Diabetes-related blindness is preventable. Here to educate us on the epidemiology, pathology and treatment of Diabetic retinopathy are two of Ohio State University’s Retinal specialists. I am pleased to introduce Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology Dr Irina Livshitz & Associate Professor of Ophthalmology Dr Fatoumata Yanoga.
