One of the most recent states to legalize medical marijuana is Ohio where a new medical marijuana law went into effect earlier this month. But it is not without controversy, however. And it is really difficult to find objective, scientific data on the medicinal effects of marijuana. On this CME webcast, we’ve brought in two of the Ohio State University’s top experts on marijuana to give us an unbiased review of medical marijuana and we’re going to frame the discussion in the context of Ohio’s new medical marijuana law. To review the pharmacology of marijuana, palliative medicine clinical pharmacist, and to tell us more about the medical uses of marijuana is Professor of Internal Medicine and the long-standing chairman of the OSU Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee, Dr. Harrison Weed.

Vasculitides such as granulomatosis with polyangiitis are potentially deadly diseases and patients will usually first present to their primary care physician with signs and symptoms of vasculitis. But these diseases can be difficult to diagnose so today on MedNet, we’re going to help you to be able to identify vasculitis in your patients and give you an overview of the treatment of vasculitis. First, to tell you about pulmonary manifestations of vasculitis is pulmonologist and Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, Dr. Lynn Fussner.
