In the 36 years since then, shock wave lithotripsy has become a primary tool for urologists to treat kidney stones. But when is it the right way to treat kidney stones? And how do you evaluate patients with a kidney stone in order to devise treatment strategies to keep them from having a second one? On this CME webcast, we’re going to be examining these questions. Joining us, to tell us about the diagnosis and treatment of kidney stones is Associate Professor of Urology, Dr. Bodo Knudsen.
