Learn About Dual Diagnosis Treatment on Webcast. Learn About Dual Diagnosis Treatment on Webcast. Today, we understand that Dual Diagnosis is common. Nearly 50% of individuals with severe mental illnesses also struggle with substance use disorders. Individuals with dual diagnoses have a higher risk of suicide, can be resistant to standard therapies and often face stigma and barriers to care. This makes knowledge of dual diagnosis management an important aspect of our practice.

For today’s program, we’ll delve into the latest strategies for managing dual diagnosis. To do that, we’ve invited one of Ohio State University’s Addiction Medicine experts, Dr. Natalie Klag. Dr. Klag is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and is board certified in both Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine and also serves as the Associate Program director of the OSU Addiction Medicine fellowship.
