In the latter half of the 20th century, the development of arthoscopic surgery have allowed for additional advancements in both diagnosis and treatment. Plus, improvements in imaging modalities including ultrasonography and MRI have enhanced diagnostic accuracy. It’s a good thing too since approximately a quarter of adults will experience shoulder pain which can limit activities both at work and at home.
