But fortunately, leukemia treatment is also advancing at a fast rate. The 5-year survival has more than quadrupled since the 1960s. To discuss with us the presentation, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment is one of Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital’s Hematology experts. We’re pleased to introduce Assistant Professor of Medicine Dr. Karilyn Larkin. Karilyn specializes in treating Leukemia and is a member of the Leukemia Research Program at OSU’s Comprehensive Cancer Center.
