The latter half of the 1970s saw huge leaps in MI care with use of the fibrinolytics to open blocked arteries, the first cardiac angioplasty and stent placement. Since then our knowledge has continued to grow by leaps and bounds. To teach us about the epidemiology, spectrum of disease and treatment of myocardial infarctions and acute coronary syndromes is one of Ohio State University’s Interventional Cardiologists. We’re pleased to introduce Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine Dr Scott Lilly.
