Webcast Teaches Physicians About Oncologic Emergencies

OSUWexnerbloglogo2014 Webcast Teaches Physicians About Oncologic Emergencies. There are more cancer survivors and more people living with cancer than anytime in human history. These patients often develop complications of their cancer or complications of cancer treatment and with newer treatments come newer types of complications. These complications often result in medical emergencies that can bring patients into the primary care office or into the emergency department. Today on MedNet, we’re going to take a look at the most common cancer emergencies that you are likely to encounter. Joining me today is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Jason Bischof.
