Problem Statement: Design a product that maintains stabilization of an object while the user is using their able hand for another task.

Idea: Rubber mat that is secured to the counter-top that can be used to open twist off bottles. This rubber mat will help as the person can apply force downward to stop the bottle from rotating while simultaneously twisting the top off.

Problem Statement: Design a product that guarantees safety in everyday tasks that may otherwise pose danger to someone not able bodied.

Idea: Heat resistant material that can easily stick to bowls or cups to allow for somebody to have a more secure grasp on an object when it is hot instead of trying to use a towel or put on an oven mitt.

Problem Statement: Develop a solution that would be comfortable and not ergonomically challenge our user.

Idea: A handle that a pot can be placed into. The handle is then slid up to be secure around the pot. The handle has an extension handle that reaches above the pot and allows for a person to hold a heavy pot with one hand in a safe and secure way. The handle is also off to the side of the pot to avoid burns from steaming water.

Problem Statement: Create a solution that is designed to be easily completed with one able hand.

Idea: This is a strainer that can clasp onto the pot to allow for one-handed straining, making it easier to flip the pot. This involves a rubber or plastic strainer that has rubber clasp that attaches to the edge of a pot.

Idea: Trash bag grasper that will grab the twist ties from the trash bag, and then when the person lifts up the handle, the two clasps will pull together and close the bag. Once the two claps are completely closed, a small clamp will fall down to the bottom of the ties. A person can then squeeze the clamp and it will close the trash bag.

Problem Statement: Design a product that maintains stabilization of an object while the user is using their able hand for another task.

Idea: Clamp with rubber expanding jaws that are able to hold any item no matter the size, the base of this clamp is a non slip rubber that will secure the clamp and allow for easy moving of it. Easy locking clamp operated with spring (Problem Statement: Develop a solution that would be comfortable and not ergonomically challenge our user.)

Idea: Electronic bottle opener that secures the bottle below the mouth and uses a motor to twist the cap off

Problem Statement: Design a product that maintains stabilization of an object while the user is using their able hand for another task.

Idea: Stabilization mat that has a non slip bottom and a non slip/ sticky surface that will prevent objects from sliding such as ice cream containers.

Problem Statement: Create a solution that is designed to be easily completed with one able hand.

Idea: Magnetic clamp attachments for your pan to stay sturdy on the stovetop so that the user is easily able to flip and stir the food item in the pan without having to hold the pan.

Problem Statement: Create a solution that is designed to be easily completed with one able hand.

Idea: Magnetic bottle brush that the user can attach to the sink when they need to clean a bottle. Eliminates the need to hold both the bottle and the brush – now the user just needs to handle the bottle around the brush.

Problem Statement: Create a solution that is designed to be easily completed with one able hand.

Idea: A rubber handle that magnetically attaches to a pan so that the user is able to easily pull a pan from the oven.

Problem Statement: Create a solution that is designed to be easily completed with one able hand.

Idea: Have a motorized device for each issue that couldn’t be completed. For a salt grinder, have a motorized grinder. For a trash bag expander, have something to put the trash bag on that expands itself.

Problem Statement: Develop a solution that would be comfortable and not ergonomically challenge our user

Idea: Create a type of glove for the user to wear that is rubber to help with holding products and opening products.

Problem Statement: Design a product that maintains stabilization of an object while the user is using their able hand for another task.

Idea: 2-in-1 pot and strainer. Strainer locks in at two positions, and when flat, can rotate upside down and strain the food.

Problem Statement: Develop a solution that would be comfortable and not ergonomically challenge our user.

Idea: Raised dishware that lets users move food to the corner and gives opportunity for easy cutting and spreading by holding tension on the side.

Problem Statement: Create a solution that is designed to be easily completed with one able hand.

Idea: Egg cracker that collects all of the yolk below and the shell falls to the side.
