ABOUT ME
I’m a self-motivated, passionate coach. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science with a minor in Coaching, I decided to pursue my Master’s degree. I’m finishing the Master’s in Sports Coaching program at The Ohio State University while working with Ohio State Women’s Basketball as a graduate manager. Working with Women’s Basketball at The Ohio State University, I have learned a great deal. I observed the coaches lead the program to a Big Ten Championship. This opportunity provided me experience with Jump Forward, Fast Recruit, Synergy Sports, Hudl SportsCode, recruiting visits, practice, and game operations.
I assist in the player’s development as a person and an athlete. My goal is to focus on player development to increase their skill level and confidence. I specialize in the skill development of guards breaking down film to work on their ball handling skills, shooting, and decision making. I breakdown aggressive man to man defense. My experience while playing at the collegiate level, has helped me train players in their social, emotional, academic, and athletic development. As a High School and AAU Coach, I have experience recruiting middle school and high school players, marketing, fundraising, and administrative work.
My interpersonal skills, communication, and work ethic are strong factors I possess. My drive and ambition fuel me. I’m eager to continue learning and growing in my journey.
