(1) The Chinese program in the East Asian Languages and Literatures Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a one year visiting position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2023. We seek candidates to teach upper-level Chinese courses and non-language course(s) in the candidate’s specialty. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to our college’s interdisciplinary program in Cinema and Media Studies. The teaching load for this position is five courses (four Chinese language courses and one non-language course).
We seek candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations. Candidates with ABD will be considered, although candidates with a Ph.
