Georgia Tech part-time position

The School of Modern Languages at the Georgia Institute of Technology seeks a part-time Lecturer in Chinese for the Spring 2022 semester, with the possibility of continuation beyond. This lecturer will teach one course: CHIN 1002 MWF 11:00-11:50am. This course is offered to GT students and will be offered online. The course will run Monday, January 10, 2022 until Monday, April 25, 2022, with final exams in the first week of May.

Applicants should have native or near native Chinese proficiency (Mandarin). A Master’s or doctoral degree in Chinese language, literature, linguistics or cultural studies is required. Experience at the collegiate level and with video or online instruction and design is recommended.

This position is expected to pay $2,000 per credit hour.
