CFP: Chinese Literature Before 1900

We invite submissions of papers pertaining to Chinese literature before 1900. Topics may include a wide range of genres and conceptions of literature, including, but not limited to: poetry, fiction, essays, literary criticism, drama, performance genres and the intersection of these texts within their contemporary historical, cultural, socio-political, religious and gendered frameworks, as well as their subsequent reception in translation across languages, cultures and time periods. We welcome submissions from scholars at all stages.
