Wake Forest position

The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Wake Forest University is seeking to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Chinese position to begin Fall 2017. The responsibilities include teaching classes in elementary, intermediate, advanced Chinese; Chinese literature, culture and/or pedagogy, as well as classes in the candidate’s specific research areas. As part of the teacher-scholar model, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop a unique research agenda. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in second language pedagogy or a related field.
