G.O.A.L.S.

Artifacts

[Artifacts are the items you consider to be representative of your academic interests and achievements. About Me

Hi, I’m Lauren McIntosh:) I am from Edmond, Oklahoma and I’m a mathematics major. I am the middle child of 3 and I have 2 cats and a new puppy. I love everything science based and being outdoors. My favorite outdoor activities include ziplining, horseback riding, hiking, and kayaking. One thing that I really love is finding a quiet place outside to read. Reading is something that never fails to make my day. A dream of mine is to move to Italy. I went with a group from my high school and I absolutely fell in love. The language and culture there is incredible and it’s a gorgeous country. We went to Rome, Florence, Sorrento, and Siena. Sorrento and Siena were my two favorite places to visit. We were able to explore and be more in touch with their culture outside of the big cities.

I am a part of a scholars program called Environment and Natural Resources or ENR. I have always been very focused on my academics, and I will put forth my best efforts to the best I can. Science has always been something that I have been interested in. My mom has a degree in actuarial science, so math and science have always been present in my life. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to major in so I chose mathematics because I’m good at it, but I’m interested in changing it. I would like to pursue a degree in a science related field, hopefully pertaining to earth science.
