The University Honors & Scholars Center at The Ohio State University serves high-ability, motivated undergraduate students. G.O.A.L.Service Engagement

One of my goals for this year was to provide service in the community I am on familiar with. This goal is under the Service Engagement portion of the Honors & Scholars GOALS. I was able to help Miss Barbara prepare her yard for the season change in late September. I spent about three hours pulling weeds, putting down mulch, and raking leaves so that she would be all set for fall and winter. This opportunity took place in Clintonville, Ohio. Though Clintonville is not far from campus, I have never been there or even heard of it.
