Hi everyone! My name is Kailee and I’m a fourth year Environmental Science major with a water science specialization and an EEOB minor. I am from a suburb outside of Cleveland, so I grew up visiting Lake Erie and exploring the forests around it. Fish are a major interest of mine (as you can see above) and I’d love to have a career working with them someday. I greatly enjoy field work and I love getting outside as much as possible. In my free time, I like to garden, hike, read, and knit.

Most of my classes have focused on aquatics, so I thought this class would be a great way to broaden my horizons and learn about the terrestrial environment. This is my last semester before I graduate, so I’m hoping to have a lot of fun with this class! I have always enjoyed gardening and keeping houseplants, so I’m quite excited to learn about the native plants of Ohio.
