Here are the pictures from our Short North Adventure. Because of some scheduling stuff our whole group couldn’t go together so here’s 3/5 of us. Both Global Gifts and the art galleries were closed the evening we went so we just took pictures outside. Jenni’s Ice Cream however, was open, so we got some ice cream.

Photo Partner Project

IMG_2821

This is a selfie of myself and Adam. Who is Adam you ask? He’s my good friend, as you can see he is a Valued First-Year Member of The Best Damn Band in the Land, also known as the Ohio State University Marching Band. This photo was taken at Buckeye Kickoff prior to the Class of 2019 picture celebrating the 50th birthday of Brutus Buckeye, that image can be seen here, for a rough idea about where we wear in the 50 here is a picture that Adam drew. The experience of taking the photo wasn’t anything special, in fact it was taken before we became partners for the Photo Project. Here’s a rough rundown of how it went:

Adam- “We should get a picture before this is over.”

Me- “Well we’re getting the class picture.”

Adam- “No I mean like, I don’t have many pictures of me in uniform yet.”

Me- “Oh, okay…selfie time!”

Adam believes this may be the first ever picture of him in full uniform, very rare. Anyways as the Partner Photo Project came up we decided that Adam’s picture should be of him in his uniform, more on why here in a bit. However we weren’t able to get together and take another photo of him in his uniform, as you can see though this one is pretty awesome.

Now the reason why Adam is in his uniform is it represents a good deal of him, foremost being his love for music. I’ve been friends with Adam for quite a while and the whole time I’ve known him as an incredibly musical individual, he even received the prestigious John Phillips Sousa Award at our High School. Secondly is Adam’s incredible personal drive for perfection, being a member of the OSUMB shows he is a precise and driven individual.

About Me

Graduation

Hello, I am Connor Mason. I’m a first year Integrated Social Studies major here at the Ohio State University as well as an Arts Scholar. If you’re wondering “What’s Integrated Social Studies?” it’s just a really technical way of saying I’m majoring to be a social studies teacher, particularly I want to focus on United States history. As an Arts Scholar I’ve been able to maintain an outlet for my interest in both music and theatre, as well other mediums of art that I’m less acquainted with. According the Pottermore sorting quiz I could be sorted into either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor house. My learning style is predominantly Auditory and Visual.
