This article was written by Yusen Zhai and Xue Du. This research was conducted in April 2020. This article goes into detail about the covid-19 pandemic and the effect it has had on the mental health of college students. It also discusses the fact that universities need to set up programs and systems to help college students during this difficult, uncertain time. It explains that before the pandemic one in five college students struggled with mental health however since the beginning of the pandemic this number has increased significantly in the negative direction. This article was published through Science Direct, and I found it through the Ohio State University student libraries.
