I will be working as a paid intern for Kiplinger Magazine in Washington D.C from May 16 until August 3. I have plans to live in the George Washington University summer dorms that are available for college students who are interning in the D.C. area. At Kiplinger, I will be fact-checking articles, assisting in research, and reporting. This experience will be transformative in that I will grow as a journalist and individual by having real world journalism experience and living independently.
