Music And Spanish in the Andes Language Learning Academy (MÁS ALLÁ) is a performance based language learning experience.  All levels of Spanish proficiency and music experience are welcome.  During the summer camp students will gain confidence, fluency, and improve their knowledge of both the Spanish language and Andean culture.  Music is a gateway into culture, and through performance of music students can immerse themselves in a culture that will expand their worldview and “stretch their ears” (as we like to say in the OSU Andean Music Ensemble).   The participatory nature of Andean Music can support students who are struggling to overcome anxiety or shyness in their learning of the Spanish language.  Performance-based learning also allows students who excel to stretch their wings and challenge themselves as well.  MÁS ALLÁ welcomes all personalities, abilities, and people.  Apply today!
