Education

University of Pittsburgh

Intrigued by a waived application fee, two-week admission decision promise and no essay, I filled out an application to Pitt during my senior year of high school. I was admitted to the College of Business Administration with an undecided major. A Dublin native, I wanted to have a different experience than that of the 90 percent of my graduating class who would inevitably attend Ohio State, UC, OU or Miami. The excitement of a new city wore off and I found myself lost. After some soul-searching, I made the best decision of my life – I transferred to Ohio State after my freshman year was complete.

The Ohio State University

I considered taking a fifth year, simply so that I’d have the complete four years at the school that gave me the best three of my life. I joined Alpha Xi Delta during my first semester. I chose Strategic Communication as my new major. I took on leadership positions. I watched the football team take home a National Championship. I developed relationships with professors. I studied abroad in Madrid. I thrived at Ohio State and am immensely proud to call it my alma mater.
