When people ask where you are right now in your career exploration process my response has been the same. I am still deciding exactly what I want to do. I know in general what I want to do it is all about nailing down the specialization. After doing the O*Net activity I learned that my ambitions and everything that I have always wanted to do all comes down to the same thing. All my O*Net career recommendations dealt with healthcare. Some of the different occupations that O*Net recommended that is in my line of interest include the following: Cardiovascular Technologists and Technicians, Acute and critical nurses, Anesthesiologists and an Anesthesiologists assistant.
Based on my experience with O*Net and my code my code matched what I am interested in going in. It is within the same general scope of practice. My code applies to my current academic plans because it helps me understand that if one thing does not work out there are different options out there that I can always choose from. This helped me see that based on my interests and skills I could do many different things and be comfortable doing it. My next steps include figuring out what my plans are and looking more into the occupations that I am interested in and figure out if it is something that I could possibly want to do with my life. After doing this exercise it gave me something to think about and it showed me that anything is possible and that there are many options out there.
