There are many pale sac spiders in the genus Clubiona. Most of them are rarely encountered. This one, Clubiona abboti, is a relatively small species. It is one that you may encounter, especially at night when they are active. They search over surfaces, including plant stems, leaves. During the daytime they are usually resting in a silken tube-like retreat.
